Other questions you might have

Is coaching the same as therapy?
No, coaching and therapy are different. The main difference is that therapy looks at your past and how that affects you and your choices. Coaching is about the present and the future. It's about setting and reaching goals, rather than mental health and emotional healing.
Concentrating on the future to achieve success is a fundamental part of coaching. The coaching process is all about the present moment and all the potential of your future. We look at taking action now.
Will it work?
Yes! But only if you do your part. As your coach, I will guide and support you, however it's down to you to follow the action plan we put together. If you put in the hard work, you'll definitely see results.
What can we work on?
That is totally up to you. We might work on one big goal across several sessions, or a different goal each time. Maybe you want to launch a business or turn a hobby into something that makes you money. Maybe you want to feel more confident at work, or change your job altogether. Maybe you’re unsure, and want to work through what would make you happier in life. Whatever it is, together we can talk through where you are now, where you want to be then, and how we’ll get you from A to B.
How long will it take?
There is no clear answer to this as it varies from person to person. It will depend on what goals you’re aiming for, where you are in your career, and how driven you are to making change. It can take as little as 2 months, though some clients have coaching for years. This will be your decision.
Can I chat to you first, before committing to coaching?
Absolutely. If you haven’t experienced coaching before, you may have questions or want to give it a try first. I offer a free 30-minute discovery session where we’ll explore why you’re interested in coaching, do a coaching exercise together to give you a flavour of the process, and make sure we’re the right fit for each other.
Just get in touch to arrange your session.
